African Dance Class in Ukrainian
This special event is a free modern African dance class on Magyar Zene Háza’s open air stage. Come learn basic choreography of modern African dance with Budapest’s star teacher of African dance! Our class leaders are Divin Ngamba (lead teacher & dancer), and Masha Kardash (Ukrainian language interpreter & dancer), and the class will be in English with Ukrainian translation. Join us for this special all-ages event! All ages are welcome. No sign up is necessary. Just come!

Divin Ngamba is a professional Congolese dancer living in Hungary. He started his dance career in Malembe Afro Dance Hungary where he could explore his deeply rooted connection with congolese dance like ndombolo and other popular afrodance styles. Throughout the years he got a lot of experience as a teacher of ndombolo, afrobeats and afrohose. At events like Sziget Festival 2019, Afro Garden and many more with Malembe Afro Dance Hungary. Divin Ngamba enjoyed sharing his knowledge and engaging style on the stage and dance studios too. He has collaborated with the most trending Afro Dancers like Petit Afro, Willy Noir and Joel Tenda.
Masha Kardash is a performance artist and dance researcher from Ukraine. Her primary dance background is in Fusion Belly Dance, a young and unique style that combines belly dance movements with a little dash of …literally anything (Masha's style is mainly inspired by hip-hop). She also practiced other dance styles as well as playback and documentary theatre. As a researcher she is interested in Dance Politics in the USSR during the Cold War and their impact on modern Ukraine Body and Gender politics. Currently she is finishing her research project in Budapest Open Society Archives.

Запрошуємо на безкоштовний урок сучасного африканського танцю на відкритій сцені Magyar Zene Háza. Приходьте вивчати сучасні африканські танці із зірковим учителем Будапешта! Наші класні керівники – Дівін Нгамба (ведучий викладач і танцюрист) і Маша Кардаш (перекладач з української мови і танцівниця), заняття проходитимуть англійською мовою з українським перекладом.
Це подія для всіх вікових груп! Вітаються всі рівні досвіду. Реєстрація не потрібна. Щойно прийшов!
Наші керівники семінарів:
Дівін Нгамба – професійний конголезький танцюрист, який живе в Угорщині. Він розпочав свою танцювальну кар’єру в Malembe Afro Dance Hungary, де він міг дослідити свій глибоко вкорінений зв’язок із конголезьким танцем, таким як Ндомболо та іншими популярними стилями афродансу. За ці роки він набув досвіду вчителя ндомболо, афробітс і афрохоз.
На таких заходах, як Sziget Festival 2019, Afro Garden та багатьох інших з Malembe Afro Dance Hungary, Дівін Нгамба із задоволенням ділився своїми знаннями та привабливим стилем на сцені та в танцювальних студіях. Divin співпрацював з найпопулярнішими афротанцівниками, такими як Petit Afro, Willy Noir і Joel Tenda.
Маша Кардаш – артистка перформансу та дослідниця танцю з України. Її основним танцем є Fusion Belly Dance, молодий та унікальний стиль, який поєднує в собі рухи танцю живота з невеликою деталлю … буквально будь-чого (стиль Маші в основному натхненний хіп-хопом). Вона також практикувала інші танцювальні стилі, а також плейбек і документальний театр. Як дослідницю вона цікавиться танцювальною політикою в СРСР під час холодної війни та її впливом на сучасну українську політику щодо тіла та гендеру. Зараз вона завершує свій дослідницький проект в Будапештському архіві відкритого суспільства.
