SOLD-OUT- Musical Journey with the Orient Express
This concert features a piece of music that recalls the most important stations of the Orient Express. The programme spans almost half a century, from the 1880s to the 1920s, covering not only the heyday of the Orient Express, but also one of the most tumultuous periods in music history. We can breathe the air of Paris through Debussy, of Munich through Richard Strauss, of Vienna through Webern, of Budapest through Kodály, of Bucharest through Enescu, of London through Vaughan Williams, and of Venice through Puccini at this concert from the cello-piano duo of Eszter Karasszon and Emese Mali, with the mime artist Csaba Méhes completing the experience.
