Phelan Burgoyne New Trio plays the music of Paul Motian
This British/Italian trio has taken shape around percussionist Phelan Burgoyne (born in the UK but currently living in Italy). The group first came together in the winter of 2021 after Burgoyne moved to Florence, where he began playing pieces from the repertoire of iconic drummer and composer Paul Motian together with pianist Alessandro Lanzoni and bassist Michelangelo Scandroglio. Expect to hear pulsing grooves, meditative textures and sharp contrasts.
According to current regulations, from March 7, 2022, it is no longer obligatory to wear a mask when visiting the House of Music Hungary. Concerts, programs and exhibitions can be attended without a vaccination certificate or card.
