Balázs Zságer's niche ambient live performance series, Transcendent Waves, focuses on atmospheric, listener-centred music – for those who love to immerse themselves in live synthesizer fabrics and psychedelic electronic music. On this occasion, AIWA will be performing at the House of Music with his own project. Zságer's new solo project is more about ambient and experimental electronic music. Lajos Nádházi, aka AIWA, one of the founders of the Farbwechsel label, creates peacefully floating clouds from his sound set of analogue synthesizers and drum machines. How can we develop our listening skills? What goes on in our own minds when we listen? How can we maximise our ability to shut out the outside world? What experiences can be enriched by immersing ourselves in the captivating world of sound that permeates our every moment? The Transcendent Waves series seeks to answer these questions. Through meditative listening, we experience moments of awareness and mindfulness more deeply. The healing power of sound can have an impact on both our ability to concentrate and our creativity in a world that is getting louder by the day.
